As of Thursday, June 17, 2021 6:50 PM CDT

Jesse Brown VA Medical Center facilities will remain open and operational for all Veteran appointments and clinical care on Friday, June 18, while allowing as many staff as possible to observe the Juneteenth federal holiday. No medical appointments will be cancelled and Veterans are encouraged to keep their appointments.

We celebrate this holiday in recognition of freedom and we reflect on the work that has gone on towards equality and the work that continues ahead.

Patient services have resumed to pre-pandemic levels. However, to reduce the opportunity to spread COVID, guests are not allowed in the facility at this time. Everyone entering the facility will be screened for COVID-like symptoms and must wear a mask.
