COVID-19 vaccines are available to Veterans enrolled in the VA health care system Monday thru Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Jesse Brown and at the Adam Benjamin Jr. CBOC. Veterans in the following categories can schedule an appointment for the vaccine:
  • Veterans who are 65 years old and older.
  • Veterans who are cancer patients.
  • Veterans who are hemodialysis patients.
  • Veterans who are organ transplant patients.
  • Veterans who live in homeless shelters.
  • Veterans who are essential frontline workers, as defined by the CDC. This includes police, fire, emergency relief services, teachers, grocery workers, manufacturing workers, transit workers, and several more.

Veterans can contact their primary care team or visit any Jesse Brown specialty clinic to schedule their appointment. Veterans can also call (312) 569-5801 to schedule an appointment. Walk-in visits are also be accepted every day that the clinics are open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. 

Veterans who do not currently get their health care at Jesse Brown can visit the “Become a Patient” webpage to enroll in the VA health care system.
