As of Wednesday, July 1, 2020 2:15 PM CDT

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time. The Jesse Brown VA has taken many steps to protect and care for our Veterans and staff throughout the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic. This included postponing most non-urgent care and services, implementing screening procedures, and restricting visitors.

VA is now moving forward with expanding select services at facilities across the country. Jesse Brown VA is implementing a phased approach to expanding health care services while ensuring a safe environment.

*If you are a Veteran patient who would like to be seen, please call 1-888-569-5282 to make an appointment beforehand.

While the hospital is beginning to increase the volume of face-to-face visits, only patients with a confirmed scheduled appointment should present to the facility, unless they are experiencing an urgent medical issue. Urgent medical and mental health care remain open and available. Veterans are also encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment to assist in maintaining physical distancing.

Jesse Brown VA will continue to offer personalized virtual care options like telehealth, phone consults and wellness checks, as we know these services have been a valuable link to our Veterans during this challenging time.

As we welcome Veterans back, we will continue safety measures including, but not limited to, physical distancing, environmental cleaning recommendations outlined by the CDC, face coverings for all, and staff and Veteran screening for signs of COVID-19 infection.
