Parking
Free parking is available to all patients of Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, however, patients being admitted are encouraged to have a friend or family member drive them to the medical center.
A new parking facility has been completed at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. The parking garage has entrances on Taylor Street and Ogden Avenue.
The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or for loss of items stolen from parked vehicles.
Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking is available in the parking facility.
Security
Jesse Brown VAMC Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking garage. For general police assistance, please dial 56505. In case of an emergency, dial 911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
Our parking lots are also equipped with emergency phones that automatically ring the security office when picked up.
Outpatient Clinic Parking
Free parking is available at our four outpatient clinics.
Public parking at the Lakeside Clinic is available on Erie Street, directly across from the Emergency Room entrance. Patients needing their parking ticket validated must contact the VA Police, located in Room 153 next to the Erie Street entrance.
